Description:We are please to announce that Metropolitan King County Councilmen Pete von Reichbauer will be our keynote lunch speaker. He will be discussing how the local policymakers balances the federal policy of widespread access to wireless communications services with the local policy of attractive and safe neighborhoods.

Post lunch we will be running two training sessions. These will run back to back. They are as follows:

Training 1: Encouraging the Integrated Deployment of Wireless Networks

Let's face the facts. Wireless phones and devices are here to stay, and people expect to be able to use them where they work, live, commute and play. And people don't want to see unattractive wireless communications sites, and they don't want antennas in their neighborhoods. This panel of government and wireless industry experts will discuss how government and the industry may work together to encourage well integrated wireless communications systems in our communities.

Training 2: Green Base Stations

Operators and vendors will share their experiences on trials and deployments, from Energy Efficiency through to Renewable Power in both the Rural and Urban environment as companies seek to reduce CO2 emissions from their mobile networks. Local Industry experts will provide insight to the emerging Green Basestation industry and the direction in which it is heading.
